Merkel is close to success, just waiting party referendum on the Social Democrats, which put it at the head of a grand coalition government for a third four-year term .
 The Christian Democratic Union and the Christian sotsialen Union agreed with the German Social Democratic Party ( SPD ) agreement for the formation of " black - red " coalition in the Federal Republic.
To enter into force, the Agreement must be approved by the supporters of the SPD in a referendum.
The agreement will be announced officially by the party leader Angela Merkel and Horst Seehofer , and the head of the Social Democratic Party Sigmar Gabriel .
 In the event of a successful referendum measures should be selected on December 17 of the deputies of the Bundestag, the head of government of a grand coalition for the third four-year term .
Block Merkel's CDU / CSU received five seats less than the absolute majority in the lower house .
Christian Democratic Union / Christian Social Union - 311 seats .
Social Democratic Party - 192 seats.
Left - 64 seats .
Green Party - 63 seats .
Coalition deal : Socialists obtained the consent of measures should be introduced from January minimum wage of € 8.50 per hour and reduce the retirement age and the Conservatives gained not to raise taxes .
