Dismissal of all tax inspectors in Greece due to corruption.
Lenders have put a condition for Greece to dismiss all tax inspectors to be released the next tranche of the loan in accordance with the second consecutive financial assistance program.
Without that installment, Greece will not be able to service its foreign debt and will be forced to declare bankruptcy.
"Ethnos" wrote that the request is entered into a confidential memorandum to the EU, ECB and IMF.
The press run suggested that layoffs in the finance ministry could happen this week.
The idea is to recruit 2,235 new tax inspectors, external to the corrupt system.
This is a vain hope, new inspectors will be corrupt even the first day.
